What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Haven't really looked at it since it's sitting in my shed, but figured I'd ask before going out in the cold to look

 

You left the radiator in place?

Would it be easier to remove the radiator or not? When doing the timing belt

 

Gives you 2 more inches of working room, I didn't need it but some with super large bodies or arms might

 

I pulled it. Super easy and a good time to get new coolant in there too. The extra space is worth it IMO.

 

I left it in place and didn’t mind it being there. But It’s to each there own. Took me 4-5 hours to knock out.

 

Nice! I wish I could keep them all. I really don’t like having a car payment.

Yea... I have a farm to fill up with cars now. More Tacoma’s will likely be in my future once the 01 is running again

So many major world events, things taking place on a national and global scale, have happened faster. You need to start writing "if", there are children born after its disassembly and able to form coherent sentences already. Who knows by the time they graduate from space college you might have the tail lights installed or something.

 

Props for doing it. Frame up build is intense and overwhelming I can only imagine. I was heading that direction but I backed out hence the new truck.

Got my switch for the compressor mounted, so the compressor install is officially complete. Now I need to get out so I can use it!

 

Have you installed the haltech yet?

I’m ready to do something different and add a 3” intake tube for more air but can’t do that with the stock ECU,
Stock is 2.5”

 

Well a sad and happy day, I sold my truck today but the good news is I have money for mods on my other ride.
