that’s what I like about fuelly. Some of those I posted have 700k miles I think one of the ranger years was over a million miles. That’s enough for me that says that’s probably what the average user will get. And same deal - if the frontier is one mpg less on fuelly I would expect in my day to day use it would be one mpg less, whatever happens. Put on KO2Es? Taco goes to 18 and the frontier would go to that minus 1, should I also put the same tires on the frontier.

I mean it would be in my driveway too.

    Cb update.

cali raised led driver side bracket installed. I like it. But not sure I’ll keep it. I think I’m going to want to move it to inside the bed long term. But TBD I might end up liking it there.

need to find a new way to route the cable from the mount to the radio that will be a spring time project (and just a new cable entirely won’t try to fuss with saving this one for 20 bucks). Probably route it through the tail light somehow.

anyway. The comedy part. Ordered the wrong jumper..........so this nice beautiful 50 degree day...can’t use it. The new (correct) cable will be here tomorrow (thanks Amazon) so I’ll tune it in freezing temps instead. Wonderful.

In the summer I’ll be doing the new antenna cable up to the center console, moving the brain to the center console area. Mic is tbd I do like it coming out the center stack so I’ll probably try to keep that up somehow. Probably just a cat6 extender from brain to stack should be relatively easy to do.

Someone in this thread mentioned releasing air from forced hot air ( baseboard heaters) from this .....

If you want to only drive half way, and come up to Western MA, I can get them on for you. I'm only about an hour and 15 north of you. I should be able to get them both on in about a full day.

I'm guessing that's on the return side of things? its low on the system and horizontal so I wouldn't expect a whole lot from it. Are there any other valves on your system?

yeah that looks more like a drain to empty the system at a low point maybe.

I first tried loosening the screw and no air was coming out . I got worried if I backed it out too far it would fall out and be an issue so I stopped. Would loosening the hex do it? I got a spiro vent atop my expansion tank too. Will look for more . I’m certain I have them on the baseboard heaters themselves

Edit: I also don’t know how long that screw is and I’m wondering did I stop too soon :notsure:. Gotta get ready for work will check back later.

Also stopping by Pelham Building supply se what I can find there. Thanks

Usually, the bleeders are at a high point on the system since that's where air will naturally go. I have ball valve spigots at the end of each of my lines. They can be used to completely drain the system and also to refill. I open the valve and also open the fill valve and most of the air gets pushed through the system and out the ball valve at the end. Then, I just use the high point bleeder or the auto bleeder over the expansion tank to get the rest of the air out.

Check the pipe where it comes through the floor. At the first elbow where it pokes through the floor, see if there's a bleeder screw there. If it's just a base board fin tube system, why do you think there's a lot of air in the system to the point you don't think your auto bleeder is keeping up?

That’s what I do, once a year go and bleed both zones. Do it all at the boiler.

I think I know what your saying but I’m not home to take a pic . One that I meant to do already. There is a elbow in the basement with a screw on it . Just below a baseboard heater ( fins) I noticed last night. I contemplated opening it when the water was going through. Wife says she hears banging in the walls roughly in the area. Her hearing is much better than mine :anonymous:m
I will take a pic later and draw lines that might help
    Thanks

I was thinking an elbow above the floor. Anything in the basement will generally be to drain down the system at the low points (with the exception of the ball valve on the return side, just before the boiler). Is the fill valve working properly? There needs to be a way for water to get back into the system to take the place of the air. Your fill valve could be the culprit, it could be stuck and not letting the system refill as needed.
