I'm thinking of putting a Tacoma Front Winch Bumper with tubework bull bar ( https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VT3FB.html ) on my 2020 TRD Offroad.

    Their website states:
    • Compatibility with Toyota Safety Sense (2018+ models) not guaranteed.
      • Sensor may be located behind the tubework based on grill model.
Does anybody have firsthand experience with this setup and know if the TSS will work? From what I understand, the sensor is located behind the Toyota emblem on the center of the grill quite a ways from the bull bar.

Cant speak for the Victory bumper but the Southern Style Off-road looks better and 100% works with TSS on any grill.

I purchased the Victory 4x4 Blitz with no bar and constructed of aluminum. One great feature is it required almost no cutting of the bumper. If you go this route a piece of advice I would give is to buy it bare with no coating. Mine was powder coated and very little was done to clean up the weld debris. It has dingle berries everywhere and they were not removed prior to powder coating. Great design, love the aluminum for weight savings, decent welds (wire feed-not TIG) but very poor prep prior to powder coating. No bar and no issues with adaptive cruise.

So you say the SSOR bumper works with the TSS but does it also work with the front camera?

I believe that is more geared to the pro grill crowd. The stock offroad grill has the sensor up high enough, the pro grill puts the sensor down low right about where that bar is. But this is also more of a liability waiver thing. If you sensor fails, you cant blame the bumper as they said it may not work with the sensor.

Yes, 100% works with TSS with either grill:

I didn't have the front camera on mine so I can't say wether that works or not. I believe it's up higher in the grill than the TSS sensor, right? If so then it should be just fine too.

Hey the truck looks great! I’m currently purchasing everything now and wanted to know I you knew what the distance between the mounting holes for the fairlead is? I didn’t know if it’s a 10 inch or larger size and can’t seem to find out that info and haven’t gotten a response from the company
