is it only for the 4x4 models? i have a 2020 4x2 SR and like the idea of a lift that is warrantied AND doesn't interfere with the radar(the grill is a BONUS).

The article says it must be for a V6 4x4 (excluding DCLB) and has all the parts to ensure that the radar and safety sense parts remain operational.

Can someone smarter than me explain why they'd delete the fog lamps when installing that?

Cool that it is a thing but...

    1. I don't want a PRO grille
    2. I don't want the stealership to install it
    3. I want my fog lamps

My guess is because they can't adjust the angle of them.

If you lift your truck, fog lights are obsolete. The whole reason they're low on the bumper is so they can shoot underneath the fog. If those of us that lift our trucks were using fogs for what they're designed for, we'd be removing them too.

Hold up. A $2k leveling kit with 1in rear spacers? Not impressed.

Cut the price in half and use a spacer up front also. But then, that would piss off the dealers that sell $6k spacer lifts.:rofl:

It looks like they are just fog light covers? Probably something to do with the FMVSS and the height of the lights after the leveling?

I feel the price for the kit is fair... but it seems like the install by the dealership would be very pricey.

Honestly is a pretty cool option for someone wanting to get a complete package.

It is an OEM kit. The likely legal department hoops this had to go through to get approval have me shocked they are even offering it.
