    They used to be a 10 min trip away. Was just a temporary spot till they built their mega dealership. Now they’re about 15-20 min away but still Roll Tide.

    Reserected from the dead.
    Switching a gen set from nat gas to propane will net you 25percent more watts out of same engine.

    Propane has roughly a 1/3 more BTUs when used over nat gas.

    With that said, if you have nat gas, switching to LPG would be a rediculous move.

    If no nat gas, then your choice is made for you.

    My nat gas must be extra clean. I've never changed plugs in 13 years old replaced the battery once, since I thought I was doing pretty good getting 11 years out of it.

    The oil gets changed every year. It looks exactly like the brand new oil I pour into the thing. I do filters every other year.

    Still have a handful of nat. gas backup Gen Sets up here. Most boilers were dual fuel too. Not so much these days.

    I bought a Honda 2200 generator a few years ago. Two years ago in Prescott we lost power for 2 days with very cold temps. I used the generator to power a space heater for my dad. It kept his room pretty toasty. If I didn't have the generator, I would've had to send him to a facility (he would've refused).
