It really depends on what the load of the fan is. Up here we commonly use miller trailer furnaces, they are a dime a dozen and pretty cheap to run. They have a pretty small blower, maybe 1/4 horse motor. A 2350 should run that all day long, so it’s tough to say without knowing exactly what you have for a setup. I have seen units before that use an electric heater as a dehumidifier or for makeup heat, and if that’s the case I could see where that would kick out even a bigger generator due to an over load. I hooked up a few over the summer that needed 40 amp circuits, I’d take a look to see if that might be the case as that generator should run a standalone furnace.

yes dual filament head. One material and the other is a support material that is water soluble.

Close on the ice cube tray, customer needed to make different size silicone balls for who knows what. So we are using his project as a learning curve for the new machine. Parts will be clamped together and filled with silicone. Should work for their application.

One thing to ask is how was his genny hooked up to his furnace. Furnace discoed from house wiring and direct wired to genny? Otherwise there mat be more load. I have a 2kw genny that will not quite run my furnace but a 3.5 will just fine.

I will inevitably bore you but here goes...

I have a report that dumps out, among other things, the building names, floors, room numbers, the department that occupies the room and what the room is used for - corridor, office, bathroom, etc.

The other report simply lists the people that occupy the rooms on campus.

The problem is the first report can have multiple lines for each room, one for each department and for the room use.

    Examples:
    Simplest:
    Line 1: Department 1, Use 1

    Harder:
    Line 1: Department 1, Use 1
    Line 2: Department 1, Use 2
    Line 3: Department 2, Use 1
    Line 4: Department 2, Use 2

The second report gives the occupants in a vertical list but we need them in a horizontal list otherwise the number of lines for all the rooms would be astronomical - we have one room on campus that has 2 departments and 2 uses with 6 people in it so the number of lines just for that one room would be 24 (2x2x6). With my code, it keeps it at the original 4 lines for that room (2x2) and puts the occupants just in a row instead of adding more lines.

It puts the 2 reports together by using what I started calling a unique identifier. There are a bunch of rooms in every building and there are a bunch of rooms with number 123 across campus so my identifier combines the building and the room number together, of which there can be only one.

The blank Excel file is over 7 megs and when you paste the reports onto their respective tabs, the entire file just spins for about 5 minutes while it thinks about 16,000 lines and about 25 rows.

After everything gets compiled, you copy/paste it as values on a 4th tab so you can filter and sort without the VLOOKUPs and formulas having an absolute conniption.

Thanks very much, I figured the next step was to get details from the furnace before I decide on how much generator I want. Being able to run the furnace would be pretty awesome for future winter outages.

I may have more questions later lol

How big a furnace do you have?
My first gen is a 2300 watt school project unit from my BIL. Had to redo the motor and build a carrier and muffler system. I have it for a backup now. I ran a separate system in the house. I ran my furnace, fridge, and a light or two. No problems.
