A member of a local Bay Area Toyota club asked for help spreading the word of their Tacoma stolen last night from their Hayward apartment garage.

Here is what they posted in the local club thread.

All bay area friends. I need your help. Today is probably one of my most stressful day. My husband's truck was stolen last night. If anyone spot the car, please let me know asap. It is a black Tacoma with a red trd plate underneath the front of the car. On the side, he has trd pro sticker. It is very noticeable.
    License plate: 59680y1

    Attached are photos.

The pax side rear window looks to be cracked. Bet that happened when the thieves pried the rear sliding window open.

From what i read on FB, they broke into another vehicle of theirs and found the Tacoma keys. Apparently the husband left a set in the other vehicle.

    Yes it does. Good call.
That also jives with them having a set of keys.

I have put in Racesport gen3 leds I'm the process of doing a custom audio overhaul which will include Hybrid audio unity 6x9 mid bass, unity 3 inch mid driver in the dash and fiberglassing tweets in pilar soundeading all the doors, floors, and headliner and I will be using a helix processor to retain the factory radio and as far as subs I might make custom brackets to move rear seat foward a few inches to get a full size sub in there or I might just go with a pair of jl tw5 or tw3 and it will all be powered by jl audio HD amps or I might try out the new hybrid amps
Shit that’s why my taco has a gps tracker with a back up camera and a remote kill switch that I can trigger from my phone :)

Damn, what are the odds of breaking into one car to get the keys to another. Sorry this happened to you. Will keep an eye out!

All of the Tacoma’s at my local dealership have it installed I believe.

    Sorry to hear.
