I have a 2013 Tacoma regular cab 4x4 I am told it is rare but I have been unable to find any information about, except my Toyota dealer says it is an Unicorn. It has Iron Cross bumpers and many other add-ons. Anyone with any information I would appreciate it. It has 33,780 miles on it and in mint condition.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Welcome to TW.

I also have a 2013 Regular cab Tacoma. My truck came with an owners manual from Toyota. Your dealer should be able to get you one, if you don't have one. I think there's even online versions.

Lots of good info in the owners manual.

I wouldn’t say “rare” you just don’t see many regular cabs. Welcome to the forum

I have the owners manual what I am interested in is how rare are these 2013 regular cab Tacomas, I know there are a number of earlier ones. I have owned my Tacoma since 2013 when I purchased it with only 350 miles on it from my local dealer.

2014 was the last production year for the regular cab Tacoma. 2013-2014 regular cabs made up only 10% of the Tacoma production. Automatic regular cabs in 2014 had bucket seats at no extra cost.

There are a few good write ups about adding not included options: cruise control, intermittent wipers, and some other goodies.

    Enjoy your new truck.

My truck came with automatic transmission, bucket seats, air conditioning, backup camera, power steering, it has a towing package, and a Kenwood radio system.

Tow package was probably a dealer added hitch and 4 pin wiring harness. The 4 bangers never had an option for the factory tow package like the v6 trucks.

    Nice truck either way!

The tow package was installed by the dealership so that the rear bumper could be installed. The dealership also installed the front bumper, the Kenwood radio system, electric door locks and the side steps as well as the backup camera and taillight guards. I am not the original owner of the truck, it, was special ordered by someone else that drove it for 350 miles, and I was told by the dealership, that the man's wife got angry that he purchased the truck and made him turn it back in and purchase her a new Camry. I purchased it as a used truck. I have totally enjoyed the truck these years but have not been able to find out much about it until now from this site.

Thank you very much I went to the suggested link and yes I found all the information on my Tacoma and I really appreciate the information it is great to have.
The truck has been serviced at my Toyota dealer every 6 months since I purchased it. I know it does not need it by milage but when a vehicle sits a lot it is better to change everything on a regular basis. Thanks again!

They are no longer on it they have been replaced with ones from Real Truck. They were on there because I am 76 years old with severe back problem that I needed the second step to get into the truck easier. The new ones are beautiful and have the long tubular bar with the single step but it is making it more difficult to get in the truck.

I didn’t mean to sound critical, I respect any functional mod I just have never seen anything like that before and it seemed a bit unnecessary at first glance hahah!

No problem you were just fine, I do not mind whatever some asks. I never liked the Westen step and I totally disliked the second step but it did make it easy to get into the truck. My back has 14 inches of metal rods pins and hooks holding it together for the last 40 years from a major accident where my spine was exploded. Others ask why do I want the truck? All my life I have had trucks and do not care for cars.

Here's a document I found online with some specs for the 2013 trucks. It doesn't give counts of each model or anything but it has some good information in it. My 2013 is also AT and has around 68.5K miles on it now.

Yes this is great information to have I am printing it all out along with the other info I was directed to. I really appreciate everyone's help as I asked my dealer where I got the truck many of these questions and they just told that they would not have it. I see your truck also has the black fender covers. What I have seen are mostly the matching paint color covers. I think I see that you are in NY. I am in southern California right at the base of the San Bernardino mountains right where you go up the resorts and lakes. I like your wheels I want to change mine with the next set of tires, what brand are they if I may ask?

I'm in NJ. The regular cab trucks got the black flares. In previous years, you could get the SR5 with the regular cab and that gave you color matched flares but the SR5 was not available in 2013. The wheels are Stealth Custom Series and they are the Ray10 model. They are pretty popular so they can be a little tough to get ahold of. I went with the matte dark bronze color. Here's their website. www.stealthcustomseries.com

I really like those wheels I am going to look into them. You are in some really clod weather that I see, here we are going to be 80 degrees today and have cold spell next week at 70. What a crazy year. I am not sure if they come with a sliver center as I am not sure how the more copper color would look on my silver and black truck.

The center caps match the wheel color. You could probably go with the gunmetal or gray to match the silver truck closer. Here's another picture showing the matte dark bronze on my truck.

Yes the gun metal gray would be perfect on my truck. I cannot believe just how helpful everyone has been on this site.
When I got my truck most everything was already on it from the original owner, the dealer put everything on that truck for him.
I was at the large pet store across from that dealer and came out and saw them putting it on the front line to sell it. I went right over and could not believe it only had 350 miles on it and was turned back in. The guy lost a ton of money turning it back in and the price they asked me for it was so low I could not say no and I have been so happy with it. Thanks so much!
