    New member to the forum. Just bought a 2012 DCLB SR5 from Carvana but it is super rusty. Major bummer. Sending it back and starting to search again.

    Welcome! Surprised carvana took it. It is far from the worst I've seen. You'll still be able to get a new frame until 2024 if you do decide to keep it.

    Did they not post photos of the underside when they were selling it? Anyone selling a Tacoma, even in the non-rust belt states, that doesn't post photos of the frame is trying to hide something usually. As a rule of thumb when shopping for Tacomas going forward

    Unfortunately Carvana does not show any undercarriage photos. The actual body is in great shape but the rust underneath and there is interior rust under the seats and on the seat bolts was too much for me.
