If some of you have never been able to siphon gas out of a Tacoma, here is the real trick without the hard labor.

Try the (12v Gas Tapper kit cost around 100.00 on ebay) that will get you by shutoff fuel valve in the tank in case of a roll over.

The key to this little kit....1/2 clear nylon line. Thread the line into the gas filler port until it hits bottom, Then take the other 1/4 clear nylon hose with the bevel end and thread it through the 1/2 clear nylon tube. Once the 1/4 tube hits the fuel shutoff valve in the tank....wiggle it with forward pressure...it may be necessary to twist the tube in a circle a bit until it finds the gap in the fuel shutoff valve. Continue to push the 1/4 clear nylon tube until its into the bottom of the tank. Test the tube depth but blowing into the 1/4 tube....if you hear clear bubbles your in the bottom. Last, connect 1/4 nylon tube to the soft clear line that goes to the 12v fuel pump supplied .....then put your drain line into the container or can that will hold your bad fuel. Turn on the 12v pump connected to your cigarette lighter and empty that nasty fuel.
Draining a Tacoma is easier than it seems if you use the right tools.

Thanks for the suggestion...just ordered one. I have a car that's been sitting for a couple years, and this beats having to crack the fuel tank open to remove the old gas. Want to get it back on the road this spring!

Just punch a hole in the bottom of the tank.

    Drain.

Drill it out to accept a Fumoto valve.

    Install valve.
