Probably 90% of my problem. Other 10% is user error.

What is semi-frustrating is that, like someone said above, no one ever says this in install videos or on install guides. At least I didn’t see it. Might have missed it. Made me think I did it all wrong.

 

From the Screen ProTech instructions on their web site: Moisture bubbles are normal to appear up to 2 days after installing and will dissipate within 7 to 14 days. (Cold weather may extend cure time)

Update on customer service: still haven’t responded to my emails. They did respond to my wife’s IG message. No resolution yet.

 

Fully debadged. Added bed mat. Installed bed lights. Ordered ecoological bumper shells to cover up those chrome bumper caps. Used Carista to turn off the seatbelt beeping. Put my custom coin holder in, I've had it for years, used to be in my 2016 taco.

Tinted windows yesterday. 15% all around. 50% ceramic on windshield. 5% visor strip.

USPS failed me... Was also supposed to be installing my DD SS3 PRO fog lights this morning as well...

 

Installed this remote start recently and it was as simple as it gets. Works with factory key fob. Runs for about 15 min before it shuts off or shuts off when you open the door. Kind of annoying that you have to restart after you get in, but it's toasty. There's usually a promo code you can find online to get another $25 off.

Thanks. The lights are a kit by Matt Gecko. Got them for my birthday. I got the 3 switch panel from Caliraised when I ordered my ditch lights but they have it at Amazon too. It fit very well where the pocket was located. Only 4 small screws in the back to hold it in place. Very happy with the outcome.

I think in general I have gotten so used to buying items that don’t work as described, that I almost expect to be disappointed a lot of the time, resulting in not doing enough research to resolve minor issues.

 

I have plenty of tools so shouldn't be an issue. I plan on hand tools as well as not to damage anything. I didn't think they were too expensive. The shocks, springs and sway bar relocation kit were under 500 total. Then spent under 190 for the 3 leaf aal, u bolts, extended pins, 1/2" flat shim and axle shims so not bad in my opinion. Appreciate the heads up

 

Cool. Went there once when wifey was in Palm Harbor. Hit most of the beaches and parks in that area from Tarpon Springs down to Venice. May end up back in that area one day.

This is exactly how I feel. I watch a few videos where there users describe just how easy it is. However, they tend to leave out small details that are crucial to install.
It also doesn’t help that I’m the least mechanically inclined person on this forum.

 

Yeah that’s just wrong. I drove a Nissan that had a CVT and the same thing, awful. My wife and I only buy vehicles that come with a MT, yeah we’re old school
