Cant be mad at them for capitalizing on the stupidity and vanity of America and the rest of the world. Good for them.

I know a lot of the you tubers are obnoxious but this was from one of the more legit, respected ones. All the other items in his poll were legit and the Tacoma refresh was the odd one out to me.

When he posted the results of the poll, the Tacoma one was strangely missing from the list. Maybe I wasn’t the only one to message him and ask what he was talking about.

These days it's easier for some people to delete when they're wrong as opposed to admitting it.

Are you sure it wasn't for a Tundra as a new one is coming waaaaay before the next Tacoma?

I dont know about that. Toyota did a mid run refresh on the 2nd gens in 2012 where they updated the front end along with some other misc things. We are 6 years into the 3rd gen, and toyota did the 2nd gen refresh about the same time.

Many companies do mid year refreshes so the next year they know is good to go.

They just did the mini refresh on the Tacoma in 2020 though, don't see another one happening anytime soon.

The only thing I've seen different lately in the 2021's is a new seat pattern design on the cloth seats. At first, they were rolling out with the two-tone look (called TRD cement?). But now I'm seeing images of black-on-black cloth seats with a completely new pattern. Looks good too.

Not sure it that's a mid-2021 model year change or not...

Uhh... hate to break it to you but the 2nd gen got a refresh at around 6 years. They updated the front end a fair amount in 2012

2020 was basically a refresh. New grills, wheels, stereos, seats and prices.

I think the new black seats are from the trail edition. Offroad and sport still have the light gray.

The world would be a better place without all these influencer leaches for sure. You have to be very careful these days as 50% of what you see is trying to sell you something. If you watch carefully you can see it happen to people you might know. They start to gather a following on some platform with honest content, and the next thing you know they are spouting off about how their overland sun-visors saved their marriage, with 500 hashtags. That’s how you know they are on the payroll.
