What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Change rims to this 2021 ones and caliper red paint.

 

Finally got mine outside. Finished up a bunch of little things. And i got this little guy for the front finished.

 

What kind of seats do you have?

 

They are Corbeau Baja RS

 

Got the whiteline LCA bushings in and alignment pretty damn close, drives good and straight. Also slapped some new brake pads in while I had the wheels off.

 

04 Manual, last couple months Icon Stage 5, Flat bed me fab, UTE box once im back from somewhere else

 

Out with the old and in with the new.


And back to nothing.

Ever thought about doing rerofit projectors?

Do they sell some sort of bracket or did you fab something?

 

Ya they sure are, totally worth the money. I’m in the truck 2 to 3 hours a day and with the 60/40 seat I would get out and have to stretch and straighten out my back. With these I hop out and I’m ready to go, it’s that big of a difference.

 

They offer bolt in brackets with sliders, nice quality and fit great, unbolt the old seats and bolt in the new.
The only thing I ran into was the seat belt buckles from the old seat were to short, with the high side bolster of the new seats. I had to make simple extensions for them. This is a pic before I cleaned them up and painted them.

I just took out my Cipher seats and put the factory back in. Bolsters were way too aggressive for a lifted truck. Inexpensive brand, but might look to name brand at some point.
