Need recommendation for cargo bar

I’m getting a Lomax hard tonneau cover for my 2021 Tacoma. Would like to get some kind of cargo bar to stop items from sliding to the front of the bed. Looking for some recommendations as to what others use.

 

I got an Amp Research bed extender. It works great at keeping stuff near the tailgate. Great for grocery shopping, lol.

Also look into getting the oem bed mat, that helps stuff from sliding around.

 

Bed extender all the way. Pair it with a bunch cargo net and nothing will move.

 

Thanks for the suggestions. I should have been more specific. I would like like something that would work with the tailgate up.

 

it will work with tailgate up, it is on a pivot it can be on the inside of the bed and if you need more room swing it out onto tailgate area or it can be removed all together in about 5 seconds. Have had it on my last 2 trucks and love it.

i think I got it off Amazon. I’ve bought so much stuff for the new truck I can’t remember for sure.

 

They don’t offer one for the Tacoma, just the Tundra according to there website. Cool idea though.

Yeah just checked and they only list Tundra. Was thinking about it for the front part of my bed for some of the misc tools and other stuff I keep in my bed to limit the clutter. Great idea though.

got mine at walmart. 20$ or so. not heavy duty . use it in conjunction w a couple of plastic bins for groceries. carry the bins in w groceries. also i have the bed mat, nothing slides on it! nothing!

 

This is what I did. The bar and tote part anyways. Cost me like $30 for all of it. Not Instagram cool, but it works, so it's stupid I guess.

 

Totally. Unless you spent 400 bucks for so.e shit in the bed of the truck to hold groceries in place, we don't care. Kidding! But I agree with you. I just happen to have the bed extender, and that works just fine for me. Other wise I'd have rigged up something with a cargo net and a couple milk crates.
