Anybody have experience with Jaco products, specifically the tire deflator? I got one for free and can’t decide if it’s worth keeping or regifting.

 

Let me ask this:

A) Do you currently have a deflator besides the Jaco, and B) how often do you use a deflator?

 

regift it, the kind @Suprajim54 has are better

 

No and currently, almost never. It’s bulky, I have to swap my valve cores, and the process is fairly in depth (pictured). I’ve pretty much made up my mind, just seeing if anyone would change it.

 

Off brand Staun? That’s what I’m really interested in. Those were neat.

 

the concept is the same as stauns but the design is different, they worked really well

Got offered a job as a welder, go figure...


I’m technically a private contractor for this job and have the ability to be called in for all their metal work. Made some great connections, one guy is a machinist that has a background in high speed desert Toyota’s. He’s not very familiar with the overlanding or crawling aspect of offroad and wants me to help design and produce some products to possibly sell. Definitely doing a cool spare tire mount and hopefully doing some lower control arms that eliminate the need for a cab mount chop. Looking forward to doing my own thing soon, have a guy that wants a cooker and another guy looking for a ranch gate. It’s a niche market and it pays to be good, I’m getting there.
