(SOLVED) Recommendations on who can OVT flash My 2017 trd off-road DCLB

Wanted my 2017 DCLB flashed with OVT . Anyone doing it here in SOCAL ? All stock except size 32 tires. Will I have issues when it’s time to smog in a few years ?

 

I found someone on Facebook Marketplace, based out of Oceanside that did it for me for less than a couple of others in the area. Search OV Tune, his name was Chris. He was nice enough to take time out of his day when he was visiting Downtown Disney (which is in my backyard) with his family to meet up and flash my truck. Saved me the trip from shuttling down to Oceanside and back to OC. The results were worth its weight in gold, as I'm sure you already know. Unfortunately, I can't answer the smog question but I'll cross that bridge when I get there 5 or so years from now

Went to @Jason TRD OR https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...l-specialist-installs-cab-mount-chops.606964/ . So happy with the result. No more gear hunting. Gained back more mpg . Drives like what it should be. Gets up and go without mashing the pedal . No throttle lag . Excellent guy. He’s in Yorba Linda. Thanks Jason .

 

Did you have to buy your own OVT and then he flashes for you? Regardless, good to know there's another reputable shop in the north OC area

He has everything. You don’t have to buy anything.

 

Looks like he really has a great tune dialed in, just wish he wasn't 900 miles away
