Heck yeah I’d buy that, but it’s probably gonna cost as much as the damn truck. Lol

There’s a bunch of thread on this already. Personally I think it’s retarded but hey it’s a free country... to me it looks like they just took a pic from any random instalander and photochopped the cab off

Yeah I don't like it either, but it is a good sign that their starting to look at what the market wants. Since it's already been posted I'm going to delete the thread.

Lol Instalander. I'll have to use that :)

There's been a few threads on it so far. Seems like alot of people think it's silly, or a waste of money. Or both haha

Well, a fool and his money are easily parted. Clearly Toyota knows this. Just look at their new factory lift kit haha.

you gotta appreciate the humor here though. People have been making trailers from junk truck beds ONLY because it’s cheap. I hope Toyota builds these from totaled trucks as well, lol.
I mean, a truck bed is a decidedly poor design for a trailer if you were to actually DESIGN it, rather than recycle... Why would you want fragile sheet metal, plastics and lights on an off-road trailer?? And don’t even get me started on the ergonomics and use of space aspects.

edit: but it’s perfect for the crowd that already drives to the office/mall with roof top tents and axes, shovels, hi lifts, roto packs etc.

Do they have a long bed option? Then you can be a true trail limo.

I’ll bet they sell some to the crowds that do day events at the fairgrounds and other OffRoad and OnGrass locations.

Looks like an expensive way to sleep outdoors.

I wish they would put the real tires on their trucks not their expensive add ons.

I think it’s a fantastic idea. Everything you buy for your truck box can be used in your trailer it gives you options without having to buy two of everything

It looks cool as hell, but I honestly would just feel weird towing another version of my truck bed around. If I'm gonna tow something it would probably be one of those small teardrop campers (check out Hiker trailers out of Denver, they make some really cool ones)

Tl;Dr for the money its probably not worth it, but if you've got money to blow it looks cool.

I think the cool thing about it is a tonneau cover, topper cap or rack would fit on your truck and trailer.

With the PRICE to VALUE on that thing only an idiot would find that even practical and cost effective. For the PRICE of that thing you can literally build up something 10x better to sleep outdoors.

Who knew that Josh's pool and lawn pickup box trailer from the 1980's would become a fad to mount a tent on top of.

Also let's stop calling it overlanding in America, this isn't the bush in Australia or Africa. IMO driving down a forest service road to camp 100 miles NW of a Costco isn't overlanding.
