Used yes, as I stated, water damaged truck that had nothing to do with aspirating water or the piece of automotive part being sold, no. I was as transparent as i could be to get the item listed, and easily could have omitted these fact. I am happy to provide any amplifying info to a serious offer. Its perfectly fine for us to disagree, im happy to entertain reasonable offers.
Do I think that TACOS or 4x4 toyota vehicles 20 yrs old 500k and asking prices for 8-10k is worth it...not to me personally, but I will move on until i see something more reasonable, but we have all seen them. Here is one priced 5-8k under a new vehicle by https://norfolk.craigslist.org/ctd/d/portsmouth-2013-toyota-tacoma-trd/7269188613.html.

We could go on about the "market" or what someone would pay, this is not what this listing is. I feel I have reasonably priced this for what it is, I have made it clear I am happy and willing to negotiate providing someone make a fair and reasonable argument. Anyone would want to pick this up for 2k, but the reality is it is worth more than that and i think you know that. Either way, you took your shot I respect that but in no way convinced me otherwise this would be worth selling at 2k aside from thats what you want. Oddly enough you proved my low ball point, with your comment which contradicts ur offer of 2k (so to you its at least worth that, which you claim is generous), if your concern are those issues you couldn't pay me to take it, and my offer certainly wouldn't be 2k.

If you want to continue the conversation I will gladly do it in DM, pass you my phone number etc... Pls leave this post unless you have points to be made that help both parties, if I am in fact overpriced, your way forward is not that. Otherwise I without question will hold onto this for 2K.

Don’t have time to read all this (assume it’s some old man rant) but if you want to sell at $2k PM me. Otherwise good luck with sale.

I was trying to be helpful. I honestly wouldn't pay more than the 2k mentioned on a system that was self admittedly not maintained properly and has a lot of mileage on it. The fact that they don't make one with the trd stamp means nothing. It's the same product. I understand you want to recoup money but would you pay 80% of the original cost of an item that is heavily used, unmaintained, and 7 years old?

I'm not trolling, $2000 was a legitimate offer. It's got over 100k miles on it, is missing parts and is 7 years old. If you think it's worth 80% of retail, you're straight up senile. But I'll PM you number, you are welcome to call if you're willing to entertain my offer.

@ilubtimmyhos, That was helpful you previously didn't state 2K. I laid out my reasons requesting feedback, we are too far apart at 2k, I never self admittedly did not maintain the vehicle so im not sure where you got that. I will gladly provide service records of which I keep on all of my equipment. Fair enough with the TRD stamp I would agree i could care less about that as well, that doesn't mean someone else wouldn't. As far as would I pay 80% that depends on availability, condition, current financial situation etc... I needed a truck with limited time, wanted what i wanted and paid more than I thought my first gen "should" have been worth at close to 75-80% of what it would have retailed for in 04.

" I never serviced the charger which was Magnusons recommendation when i asked, however it ran as it did the day i bought it and was sad to see it go"

This is you explicitly saying you didn't service the SC

Considering that a used main blower assembly (no other parts) was listed (sold?) here last month for $1850..... i would say that a $2k offer for this more complete setup...although legitimate....could also be called a lowball offer. To each their own.

OP: my suggesstion: you need photos of all the parts youre selling. Because right now, the parts only in your photos arent worth $4200. Show the tensioners, the front mount heat exchanger, the coolant pump and reservoir, fuel injectors, etc and other stuff that you've pulled.

If you are missing the bottom supercharger pulley, that is a major item. A non-blower truck will NOT have this pulley as the lower TRD blower pulley is sandwich'ed to the stock crank pulley. I suggest sourcing a used one from someone that upgraded the lower blower pulley to an aftermarket AL unit.

GLWS OP. This partial kit could be a good buy for someone that knows the in-outs and can negotiate with the seller's $4.2k asking price.

@SUMOTNK I can work with that, ill look into the previous sale (if you can send me the link id appreciate it), im not going to source the pulley so certainly will factor that in better. Good feedback lll deff get those other pics up, was just trying to get the ad out there.

I based my offer off of what parts I thought would need to be sourced as well as the cost/time to rebuild it which it surely needs after 7 years/110,000 miles. But I guess I am an unreasonable person.

The one I looked at was on Summit Racing. $4895. Complete kit. Pulley, fuel lines, inter cooler, new injectors everything you need. Then plus install if not doing it yourself of course. So obviously knowing you want as much as possible but $4200 with missing parts, no warranty , no tune etc. imo is high and it’s 6-7 years old. I’d think 2500 is fair knowing the buyer has to probably put at least 1k in to get it on their vehicle. Just my 2 cents. But good luck selling hope you and a buyer can find a happy medium. FYI ProCharger makes a kit know that’s about 5k complete package.

Honestly I think if it was complete with injectors and was maintanced it could be worth 3k but after thinking it over there is no tuner pullie and other stuff your offer is legit at 2k

also that is a tuner kit on summit so the eBay one is a better deal

I will love to shoot you a offer too... But there a few more info you are missing:
    - Was the engine running/ SC in good working condition when pull off. (any videos ???)
    - What parts are you missing (because some part you can not get it separate, you have to get the whole kit)
    - What kind of service you have done to the taco/ sc... (record plz if have)

Also keep in mind.. 4K is deep to drop. because just like everyone else above... for a few more dollars you get a complete setup and warranty (<<<< that very important) ... Because without knowing what parts you are missing it will be a headache chasing your tail around trying to find that 10mm bolts... Lol

I’m interested but you gotta play ball be realistic. The pulley bearings are usually smoked after 50k so u got to factor that in also I’ve ordered several sc kits used they are always missing parts or the rotors bearings bad
