IMG_5230.jpg IMG_5232.jpg IMG_5228.jpg IMG_5226.jpgWanted to create this thread to talk about my budget Tacoma build. The goal for this vehicle is to create the ultimate ski/ light duty Offroad truck for when I move to Utah next August. As a soon to be college graduate I am doing this build on a pretty tight budget so here it is.

    Already Completed:
-Immediately switched the stock tires to 265/75/16 Falken Wildpeaks. These things have performed awesome in the snow and were roughly $600 out the door.
    - Plastidip: Blacked out the tacoma emblems as well as the rear bumper caps ~ $20
    - Plastidip: Obsideon black kit from Dip Your Car. I know a lot of people hate on plastidipping wheels, however this is my second vehicle ive done it on and if you do it properly it looks great ~$50
    - TRD Pro Grill from Empire Offroad with Amber raptor lights $150
    - DV8 roof rack $500
    - Magnaflow muffler swap: $200. Some people think waste of money, but I think it sounds great.
    - Free tonneu cover with purchase.

    Planned:
    - Front 35% tints. $80
    - 40" LED Light Bar for the roof rack. Was planning to purchase the rough country single row black version as its inexpensive, but seems to be reliable. However, if there is an alternative that anyone knows of that would be awesome! $250
    - Bilstein 5100 all the way around. Planning to keep the stock height in the rear and lift the front 1.1 inches using the preload (worried 4th setting will have some bro lean). I figure this would be a marginal bump up that wouldn't make the wheels look too small. I also like the ability to add a 1" block or AAL in the rear if I want too in the future or front coils. ~450
-Bulldog hidden winch mount: This thing is less than 40lbs and only $260. Im concerned about strength however, so if anyone has any insight as to this id really appreciate it. https://www.ebobsgarage.com/product...MIkITbydr-7gIVkL3ACh14sgSxEAQYAiABEgKuPfD_BwE
-Barricade 9500 synthetic winch. This winch only weighs 44lbs and costs $500 which is my draw to it. I realize this may not be the most reliable but Im willing to take the risk at that weight and price.

    Potential:
    Wheels and 285s
    Coils.

After the research I have done I think this will be a really good setup for what Im going for. The total cost of this build would be ~$2540. However, be for I get too far on this truck I wanted to come here because a lot of the products I have looked at don't really have reviews, so any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated!
