Just got a new Tacoma from Lithia here in Billings. Taking it in Thursday for a leaky rear window. I really hope this isn’t the “norm”? Leaky windows and Montana don’t mesh!

Are you referring to the power sliding rear window? My manual window on my 2016 Sport never leaked but it does on my 2020 Sport when I hit it with a pressure washer. Dealer checked it out and even brought in new truck off their lot and it also leaked. They determined it to be normal and said not to spray the window with a pressure washer from the right side. It never leaks any other time or in heavy rain so I am not too concerned.

That's why I always wanted no sun roof or sliding rear window. F150 had same issues. Let them figure it out and deal with it. If its leaking from rain fall not okay. How did you know it was leaking what did you see or smell?

Its the power rear slider....I don’t even have 500 miles on it. It was the first time I washed it. Water all over back seat and rear headrests. Not ok if a truck can’t handle a run of the mill pressure washer from behind the tailgate!

Is it the window or the 3rd brake light? Mine leaks at the light.

Never been a problem for my 18 or 20. I go through car wash often and use pressure washer at home.
    Is the seal intact?
