Had the same issue on an inline fuse holder. The fuse holder wasnt quite making solid contact with the fuse, causing intermittent contact and excessive heat. I replaced the inline fuse holder and carefully clamped down on it with some pliers to close the inside contacts to ensure a solid connection.

I've seen this happen before due to turning of the inner tie rod to adjust for toe. This causes a twisting motion in the boot that tears it after a while because the boot sometimes turns with the tie rod on the outer end. When you get it aligned, be sure to quickly loosen the boot clamp with some pliers to quickly release any tension placed on it from the alignment shops adjustment.

Received my RCI tranny skid last Friday from the group buy. Kept the old O.E. front skid, so had to replace rear bolts with longer ones—M8-1.25 x 35mm grade 10.9 (8). Also had some galvanized washers laying around—used them as spacers. RCI Sliders to arrive later....when it’s warmer, I hope.

Edit: Had to move my AC drain line mod also.

Edit: Since I’m gonna have to remove this skid in the future for maintenance underneath, I decided to replace the washers with 1”x3/8”x3/8” nylon spacer and increased the bolt length to 40mm. This took me all of 5 min to do today 2-24-2021.

Installed some budget friendly ditch lights.
The brackets are not the best as they wobble way too much. Soon to be placed.
The lights are wired with waterproof quick connects and wired to my switch board on separate buttons. That way I can turn them on and off individually.

    Ditch Lights
Brackets (not worth putting a link...)
Next brackets will be much stronger

    Waterproof quick connects.

Wired to the two "10A" locations on the left.
I have since cleaned my engine bay... lol

    Here it is again...
    wobble wobble wobble

:headbang: New gear break-in flush after 500 miles. Can’t wait to wheel with these 5:29’s. And no my RPM’s aren’t screaming on the HWY (2550rpm at 70mph). Also now when I flush the rear diff I lift up the DS of the axle to get the last bit of fluid out. Absolutely unnecessary but mildly satisfying to know I’m getting a little more of the old stuff out.

After weeks of searching and waiting for a decent topper for a decent price, I put out a distress beacon on the Florida and Georgia classifieds. Tacoma World came through and a member sent me a local ad I wasn’t able to see.. Found an ARE Topper for a 2nd Gen built recently- factory Line X paint job. I thought I wanted a color-matched topper but I really like this a lot more.. Clean as a whistle, too. I love with website.

10 hour round trip- hit 50k on the way. Atlanta traffic is horrific.

If I went moog I could have enough to "splurge" on wheelers super bumps, that will go along with my ss3 pros. Damn, I feel like I only modify my truck everytime I get laid off now

I installed those exact same LCAs as well about 2 months ago, its super nice they come with ball joints and bushings already installed. My only gripe was none of the joints had greaseable zerks already installed. For the price and quality though they really cant be beat.

So, my front window tint was getting blueish so I took it off a few months ago.
Got them tinted last night after work. 35% so LE's leave me alone.
Also got the windshield strip (20%) for free because I paid cash.
Back & rear windows have 20% on top of factory.

In for details too, are they rough country seat covers? That RC looks familiar.
