    Cut off both front and rear leaf mounts and weld on new ones to accommodate 63" long springs from a Chevy. they have a ridiculous amount of flex.

    Whole why I went with the heavy duty is because I plan on putting the Mobtown over the softtopper rack with kayak mounts

    41 inches floor to fender and the rear now is 42 inches to fender. Will get some better pics out in the sun after test drive and alignment

    It's not a shackle problem, it's a Dakar problem. It's only an issue under some heavy articulation with some long shocks. The solution is to trim back the second leaf about 1" because it can gouge the shackle. I would not worry about it with how your truck is currently set up.
