Decided to give the Work Sharp precision knife sharpener a shot. For $50 it’s not bad. Don’t expect anything like a Wicked edge or edge pro, but for me it’s good enough, I don’t need a mirrored edge. For larger knives like cleavers it’s a bit wobbly but that can be solved by just supporting the system with your hand. Also used it on a PM2, restored the broken tip, and went down from 25 to 20 degrees. All in all - would buy again. Still prefer whetstones but my shakey hands sometimes would just like to use the work sharp.

Nice slim and light. While my Manix2 is my favorite to use, it just takes up a bit of too much pocket space. This guy will be awesome for shorts this summer!

Wow, my knife friend only sells them to me! Coolness!

In fact not only did he sell me a BM9400, I got a nice custom made, that has gotten me into sharpening and stropping blades.

My daughter wants to learn how to sharpen knives.... I’m such a proud father...
evidentially she tried to cook at a friends house and she realized how much more pleasurable using a sharp knife was ....like they all are at our house...

her knife collection is only 5 now but give it time...
