    oh god, this shit again...

last night before I left work I emailed everyone that I finished their project and literally told them the location where it was saved.

This morning I get an email...

    WHERE DID YOU SAVE IT

....it's literally in the second sentence of my first email lol. People are so fucking stupid I swear

I really need to not reply for a few minutes or I might say something that will get me in trouble

ah didn't know it knocked out the alignment, very possible then I would think. IDK if the caster would cause that though or not. An alignment read out of both sides would be interesting to see and might confirm one way or the other

That's basically what I just did minus the caps or they'd probably think I was being passive aggressive lol.

I almost copied/pasted my original email with the location in bold italics but figured that might not go over as well either.

Lol. I've had to rewrite so many emails to dial down the sarcasm.

I had a coworker once that would only ever read and answer the first question in an email. SUPER frustrating. I learned to just send one question per email eventually.

I love when older admins in my district yell in all caps for things that don't require it at all

This is probably the same guy who archived a critical application file to a floppy disk by dragging it from his outlook. Thus creating a windows shortcut on the floppy disk that pointed into an outlook PST file on his computer, which he then filed away for us to find years later. :bananadead:

That's the other thing I constantly have to explain to them, file size limits in emails and how making it fit the email's 20mb limit is going to make it look like shit lol.

They are terrified of Dropbox/WeShare/etc links for some reason

I'm glad I don't have to deal with those anymore. I had an annual candle and goat blood ritual where I ceremoniously dragged all of the previous years emails into a new PST file to keep them from getting too big.
