Purchased the maranda cap and built out as a super secure, slide in/out, self contained, off grid camping solution that blends effortlessly into urban as well as super remote settings.

The slide in is self contained and utilizes a deep cycle battery for LED lighting, USB chargers, internal security camera (to see outside the back without opening the doors), and CB.

Up top are two marine grade solar vents to keep the inside comfortable.

Sleeping platform is built above the battery storage/toilet/gear storage.

My wife and I have been four season camping for four years now and we have developed it into an ideal setup for us - it may be the ideal set up for you too!

Includes the removable diesel heater that mounts over the PoD in the winter and the custom vestibule off the back of the PoD (made custom for the PoD/long bed Tacoma).

This is a wonderful setup for two people and my wife and I have had a great time with this setup, however we now have an additional person to bring along and have moved to a alternate solution.
