    I bought these sliders in September 2020... they arrived January 2021. The fabrication looks good so far but the Powder Coat was a waste of money. I Do Not Recommend having them do this process if you decide to buy from them. They haven’t been on my truck for 2 months and one side is showing oxidation through the finish in multiple spots and in others the finish came completely off at the car wash.
    Good luck getting in touch with them too if you do have any issues.

    Have you tried reaching out to them? How did that conversation go?

    I emailed Them pictures of the oxidation when I first noticed it a couple weeks ago. Asked them what I should do and I haven’t heard back. The Powder Coating is just falling off now when I wash the truck. It’s only happening to one of them too.

    Mike,

    Please email Tanner@avidoffroad.com with the pictures. All powdercoat is outsourced and not done in house. Sorry that it doesn't appear to be holding up at all.

    Tanner will address your issues.

    Thanks and sorry youve had issues getting through.

    The finish looks to me like it was painted and not powder coated. In addition whether it was painted or powder coated looks like it wasn’t prepped properly. Hopefully they make it right for you.

    @Sprig

    Tanner at Avid was very responsive to my concerns after I had made this post. They are issuing a refund for the finishing. The Powder coat was handled by a 3rd party co. I understand that it’s hard to control the outcome when you aren’t overseeing the process. I would agree that the Slider wasn’t prepped right prior to the Finish Coat.
