Here’s one bit of advice that I learned the hard way. You cannot sell a call after hours. If GameStop spikes to 1500 a share after hours and then crashes back down before the market opens you’re standing there holding your dick and your call option. The day it hit 500 pre-market I was standing on a bunch of call options. I was eventually able to only make about $60,000...If I had shares it could’ve been three times that

 

Only 60k lol, what a shame. For sure I know thank ya. If it spikes above 1000 tomorrow (seems farfetched, but it's possible) it seems likely that they will move. In which case i'd have ~100k on a $55 play. If it hits 500 and sits I'll probably take the $ and run too but if it runs I'm keeping my diamondhands that I've had since buying a few at $380. I am holding 6 shares at $122 too, but this option was a gamble to start, and I wont hate myself *too* much if I do get caught with my dick in my hand. I will absolutely be up at 4:30am MT time to prepare for the day though haha.

My situation was I was fortunate enough to have multiple call options. I was able to sell some of them to exercise the others to get to shares. And then some son of a bitch started tinkering with the market and it all started crashing and I got stopped out of most of my shares. From there I was daytrading the volatility with shares. I got trapped with 30 shares at 225-ish decided I would hold those until I can sell them for four figures each
