My father hated the F bomb. One of the worst beatings I got was around five years old. We were at the dinner when I decided to try and to replace the "d" in duck with each letter of the alphabet. I hadn't a clue what f**k was and had never heard it. I can only remember his fist coming in from the right side of my face. I don't remember anything until after I woke up. My grandmother said I was out cold for a few seconds. He knocked a tooth out as well. Thankfully not an adult tooth. He would even angrily turn off the TV if he heard it. He had issues.

It left an impression on me. I got uneasy anytime I heard the word....in real life or in movies, TV, etc. I really didn't start using the word regularly until I was in my 20s. It was actually quite liberating. I even got my wife using it. It's actually pretty damn cute when she uses it.....provided she's not mad at me.

 

Is this a badge of honor in here?

 

Same, it usually only comes out though when I'm playing video games or working on project I didn't plan well.

Pretty close. My last truck had no power windows but it did have the RSCA and VSC buttons there if I remember right.

 

I didnt really swear until the military, its pretty hard to un-do once its a habit but ive been getting better (when I feel like it).

 

Reasons I swear so much- I'm a mill employee, and a redneck to boot.
