or head over to a coin op that has a pressure washer
just bring a ramp or 2 and lift the one side up a bit to make it easier to wash the underside

Pffft washing the underside in the winter is only useful after snow wheeling to inspect for damage.

Less then 2 seconds on the road, and it is like you did nothing.

I would get a lol if someone pulled out ramps at the coin-op tho

That's hardly any of it. I have so much when snow melts and I see what I've gathered over the winter... (400 series for the most part)

 

Any recommendations for finding a place in Ontario that sells OME lift for 2nd Gen?

One group in Ontario actually did an overlanding trip on an inactive airstrip last year i.e. people drove upgraded 4Runners and deployed RTTs on pavement.

 

Give @pete37 a shout, he got stuff for me much faster than 4wp did.

When 4wp don't have stuff in one of their warehouses... it gets kind of problematic... have a read of their google reviews to get a better idea of what I mean.

That's a better idea. If you have good forward lighting then the ditch lights really aren't needed since they are usually aimed at an angle forward. I have lighting on the roof rack aimed to the side.

 

I agree. If it's a mild day I will just house down the truck with water to get all the dusty shit off. That's it.

 

Here's the abandon air strip that we visit on many Bancroft Overland Club runs. We haven't camped here but I know other groups that do. There are a few abandon air strips around the province.

though we do hang out an an abandoned landing strip, it's great. seen people pull up camper trailers and there was one buddy who set up a drift course on it
