2018 Tarcoma SR 4X4 Dbl Cab
    Greetings from Michigan.

    I bought a 2018 Tacoma SR 4X4 dbl cab.

I sold my 2006 Sequoia a few months ago. Just got too rusty to work on.

I drive about 50 miles a day for work.

Several times a year I go to Michigan's U.P. and deal with mud & deep snow when trying to get into camp.

I do not have the money for a car and a go-to-camp truck so I need to set this truck up for versatility.

    1) cap/cover. I need to be able to take it off and put it on. I am thinking of an aluminum cap since it is the lightest.

    2) Front receiver along with winch plate and winch. I am worried that if I permanently install a winch it will rust up by the time I need it. MI uses copious amounts of salt. Using a reciever plate with a winch I will be able to keep the winch stored in a dry place and only install it on the camping trips. Any thoughts on wiring for this type of set up?

    3) Brush guard/bull bar. I need one or the other on this truck and it needs to be able to install along with the front receiver. I would really like a brushguard with receiver as one piece and I am consider making one.

    4) Tires. Stock is OK for now but I will be looking for something better. I ran BFG TA KO 2 on the Sequoia and I really liked them. I will probably use the same on the Tacoma.

    Any opinions will be appreciated.
