No problem haha. Thats the A/C drain hose, I just extended it with vinyl tube so it wouldn't drip on my frame. Its green from A/C dye leaking out of the A/C system and into the drain, usually from the evaporator core (or this is what research has led me to). Seems to happen on 4th gen 4runners after 15 years and lot of miles. Have to pull dashboard, drop steering column, etc to replace it. Kind of a pain in the butt lol

It's just the fastest way from what I've seen. Go to the dollar store and buy the cards, tape and even the paper. Do it in the late afternoon when the wind dies down.

Uhhh, my hopes are dashed :frusty: but I tend to agree Eric. Maybe redo it in the lime green to match your other accented parts. :fistbump:

Ohhhh! Thanks for the explanation. I thought all Toyota suffered from this disease? I know there is at least one thread on here about this mod for Tacos. I also thought this was a harder fix than it looks like. I have some of this clear hose somewhere. Maybe I'll do this too. :bananadead:

yea, I’ll decide what to do. Maybe it’ll grow on me. It did make the decision not to use it on the badges for me though. I’ll just black plasti dip those. That way I don’t need to remove them either.

Yep, the rust and the green color are two different issues though. A/C drain relocation for rust took all of 2 minuntes.

Green is because dyed refrigerant is coming out of the A/C system and leaking into the condensation drain. Anyone with a nonleaky A/C system should have clear coming out, since it would just be regular condensation. I'm thinking I fill the system one more time, since it lasted about 1 year each of the past two times its been done lol. I like A/C in the summer, so hopefully a refill holds for now.
