I’m new at this so appreciate any and all feedback.

I ordered OME CS046RA & B (driver & passenger side) rear leaf springs for my 98 Taco. The springs I received are labeled as OME L122RA & B. I guess OME changed the part numbers and apparently added in-leaf liners and anti-squeak pads that older CS046R springs didn’t have. When I compared the new spring's measurement from the pin that sits on the differential to the center of the front bushing housing, the measurement's an inch or so shorter than the old—see photo. I realize new springs may elongate under load but I can’t ‘load’ them when installing. Also, not sure if the outer curl of the new spring's bushing housing will fit my truck. Last thing--seems the OME SB89 bushing kits' diameters are two small for the L122Rs openings.

    So my two questions are:

    • Do I have the correct springs?
    • Do I need different bushings?
    Thanks much!
