Hey everyone new to the community and new taco truck owner, been browsing the forum for the last month. Getting a lot of ideas on here and am looking to bounce a lot of ideas and questions off of everyone. Bought a 2019 Tacoma TRDSport from a private seller yesterday, and am looking to do mods over the next few years.

First question would be when i bought the vehicle it has 14,500 miles on it. Whats the first upgrade to do? I've considered putting a 2-3" lift on it and 33's. But I'm curious if that's too much to begin with is there something that's a must do when you get a Tacoma. I'm not interested in making this an overland truck with a tent. Eventually it'll end up in Colorado as a truck to get to and from a cabin in high terrain.

    Welcome to TW, Derek!

I can't tell from the picture but since I see MN plates, if you don't have a tonneau cover, I'd get one to keep the snow out.

Past that, everyone's priorities are different. Do things as you need or want them, not if we tell you you should.

I'm right next door to you so i completely agreed. That was the first thing I did to mine, followed the next day with the steps.

Have fun bolting more stuff onto it!

A little of this and a little of that.
Welcome to TW! Congrats on your truck!

Check the cabin air filter and replace as necessary.

Also, I like the Redline hood struts as a must-do mod.
