I just removed my transmission and don't remember it being particularly difficult to get to the torque converter bolts.

I remember the front subframe being in the way not the diff. Are you saying if the diff wasn’t there that I’d have a straight shot above the subframe with an extension to get to the torque converter bolts?

Only worried about rust since it’s from MA but the salvage truck looked good, I’ll make sure to get some pics before it’s shipped. It says it doesn’t come with linkage but I would assume I just use the linkage from my current transmission

Yes you would, the A750f is the same trans as your current one just with the Tcase adapter on the end. Everything will plug in like OEM.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
I could be wrong. Bought the kit on a hunch the shifter ball would fit in the socket on the FJ base plate. Quick measuring they’re the same. I guess time will tell! Yea it’s the same shift pattern, it’s really only the lever that I changed, everything else is the same. I’ll pull the shifter when I install and post some pictures.

Nice, order placed. All that is left now are the driveshafts and a big order of small seals and bolts lol

I would just take your prerunner shaft to a shop and have them cut it.

Once you get the Tcase in you need to measure the distance from flange to carrier bearing. The rear stays the same. I would tell you mine but im not sure if its the same since we have different transmissions

Much cheaper than I thought. I’ll prob do that then so I won’t have to mess with the carrier bearing. I bought a front shaft for $105, very little rust. Rear shafts look to be going for $400!!

Make sure it wasn't from a manual there's a difference in length.
