    This and that...
    Was on my list for a long time. Grandfather used the M1 Garand, father used the M14.

    SHTF=WROL? 12.5 with 68+grain ammo, 13.7 for all other ammo.

    SHTF=ROL? 13.7 pinned for compliance.

    Skip the bipod in either case, shooting off a pack is more stable and lighter.

    Call it WROL, either way it’ll be an SBR.
    I don’t have any 68+ grain ammo, I’ve been thinking about buying some once prices go back to normalish. I think a 13.7 with an LPVO and a small bipod would make a capable multi-role rifle and good accuracy/velocity out to 600+.

    I agree on this. 13.7" seems to be the sweet spot, especially with suppressors and a 500m gun.

    I actually went on SOLGW’s website this morning to see what they had in stock and what uppers they offered, I’m torn between building my own and buying one of theirs. But this build can’t happen for a little while, I gotta start sending funds to my “shop/apartment” fund so I can build that sometime next year.

    Not sure if they’re still making them but I have a 13.7 Rainier ultra match that is probably the best shooting barrel I own

    I think I might try a 45 degree safety this build.

    pricey but the Radian Talon is nice! And if you don’t like it you can switch it to 90

    that looks more like a monocore suppressor baffle than a brake on the end!

    I’m digging the new Aero Breach charging handle...picked a small one up and actually prefer it over the Radian Raptor

    I saw those, they’re nice. The sold out super quick. I need to procure a CH for my .308 build. I like the PRI gas buster too.

    They look nice! I have a radian on one of my uppers and I like it but it doesn’t feel as stout as I was expecting.
    It looks like the Breach should handle gas pretty well with the ridge at the back.

    I looked at the gas busters but for some reason I always drift back to looking at the BCM gunfighter handles instead.
