05 tacoma speedomoter

Hello, today my 05 tacoma 4 cyl 5 speed truck's speedomoter stopped working completely. the odometer and tach work just fine. i cant find any burned out fuses. it has 69 k miles on it. can anyone advise my on what else i can check?

 

If only the speedometer stopped working you most likely need to replace the entire instrument cluster. If it was a fuse the entire cluster would not work, not just the speedo part. The fact that the odometer works tells me your speed sensor is working ok, so you can rule that out as a possible problem. This sucks because the cluster is pretty expensive. You may also see about finding an electronics shop that can repair it for you.
