Temporary Disconnect of Chime/Beeping

Is there a way to silence the Chime/Beep temporarily. Is there a plug disconnect? Tks

 

which one? The seat belt one, the door one, the left car running with key in pocket and went inside one.

 

The door one drives me insane

 

Its for the Hood, I have a Hood ajar on my dash that wont go away either

 

huh, never heard of that one. I guess try to find the switch for it under the hood. take out the switch and wrap a hose clamp around it and tighten. This will depress the switch, then just put the switch somewhere under the hood.

 

you could disconnect that switch under the hood, use a multi meter and measure whether it is opening or closing the circuit when it is depressed, then just make a jumper wire for it
