I have a 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport dual cab and the leaks come in from the rear seat belts. Recently, one of my daughters was complaining that the entire seat was wet. I thought perhaps the window was cracked open, but it wasn't. BTW, I don't have roof racks installed...yet.

I just checked the slats just now and they are good; however, I noticed the two parts come together just above the rear part of the cab, about where the rear seat belts would be. I guess I'll be contacting the dealer.

Seeing the replies here has been informative, because I do intend on adding roof racks at some point. Thanks.

I am ready to take the third brake light out to apply silicone to prevent leakage; however, there are no screws outside to take it off.

Apparently, I have to remove the headliner (and 2 hanger hooks) to get to it.

Will someone who’s done this before please advise how to remove the third brake light from inside the truck? What I’ve seen online doesn’t seem promising so far.
