Sold my 2018 DCSB and bought a 2021 DCLB.

    Want to buy:
OEM roof rack. Would be willing to swap the drip channel as part of the deal.

    For Sale:
Truxedo Pro x15 tonneau. Asking $200. Currently selling for $540 on Amazon. Tonneau is 2.5 years old and in great condition. It lived in the garage 99% of the time.
Note that I modified it to work with the KB Voodoo bars as seen in this TacomaWorld thread.

Tonneau is located in Fort Collins.

Just look at the build thread
Looks like I'll be making a 1-2 week trip to Colorado this summer. Mostly a family trip but wanting to sneak away for a day or two to do some exploring. We're staying in/near Cripple Creek. I've been to Ouray, Telluride, and Silverton back in 2017 but I'm unfamiliar with this area of Colorado aside from going to Pike's Peak when I was a kid. Any trails in the area worth noting? Not looking for anything hardcore as I will likely be the only vehicle going. However, I'm well equipped with recovery gear and winch and am confident in my ability to un-fuck myself if I were to get stuck so something more than paved roads and perfectly groomed dirt would be nice!

33s, rear locker/ATRAC, winch, full skids, sliders, snorkel and high clearance front bumper on the 4Runner.

Sounds about right. Last time I was out there were a bunch of jeepers heckling and shouting over my spotter. When it was my turn to spot I had to tell one guy to fuck off for yelling over me and giving shitty instructions to my then GF.

That’s kind of just part of the game with these long trucks. I have scraped it a few times since the rebuild but nothing bad

They made mine with thicker wall /smaller od and it’s pretty stout. I have put a ding or two in it since then but I feel better about it than I did the factory one for sure.

Seems like the best option. Maybe dropping it down to 2.5" and .250 wall. I wonder if I have a new shaft made I could move the carrier bearing rearward make a cross member for it to bolt to, to raise the angle of the shaft.

I would figure out how much gain you’d get before doing all that work. Seems like a lot for an extra 1/4” clearance. I think 2.5/.250 is what mine is.
