Looks great! I recently got them in black and love them. Installers had the lugnut torque all over the place, and I felt a wobble. Once I re-torqued everything they've been a dream.

Yeah, they had me sit in the truck while they did everything. I kinda groaned when they did like a dozen uggaduggas from the impact gun on every nut and then went around with a torque wrench.

The reason I asked of you personally owned a pair of those headlights is because "internet". I can read a review on a part that involves wiring and the review will have a complaint about wiring and that review will mean absolutely nothing to me because at least 90% of the population doesn't understand wiring anyway. Same for people's mechanical ability but with a lower percentage number. I have no idea of the person's abilities that wrote the review. I bet you that more than half of people can't figure out how to disconnect a Tacoma rear light/trailer harness plug but they'll complain about that plug being defective because it's stuck together. I'm always reading comments on TW of people having difficulties installing a grille. I completely changed my views on other's opinions of parts when I installed a spacer lift on my truck. When my truck had a spacer lift its ride quality improved because I knew it's not a block of aluminum that makes ride quality bad it's the upper ball joint running out of travel, but read TW and a spacer lift is the second to the worst thing that can be done and it's ALL BS written by people that don't understand how their truck works or they're rewriting what they read (like you did) with no personal experience of what they're writing about. It's 100 times worse when the person that's doing the writing is a respected member of the community (like you) that they're writing on and they write a review about something they have zero experience with because that will make more people with zero personal experience of the part regurgitate what that respected member wrote.

A investment has nothing to do with the amount of cash spent. An investment can cost $1 or billions of dollars. A investment implies a gain of something, it could be a gain of cash return or performance of a part. Why would I seriously consider a person's review of a investment on something they don't even understand how it works?

Or perhaps people always recommend against a spacer lift because there is no gain in performance. 2” of lift on stock suspension does nothing for your truck. Unless you just roll around town wanting to look cool in your lifted truck with big tires, then you have succeeded with your spacer lift.

Otherwise, a spacer lift on mostly questionable hardware gives 2” of lift on stock suspension with no gains in travel or performance. The minute you go off road, whether it’s desert go fast or rock crawling, you’ll see why everyone says get a proper lift, because even the most basic proper lift will give you increased strength and durability while also getting an increase in performance, more travel etc.

However you are correct 90+% of the people on here don’t really use their truck beyond the occasion fire road camping trip and don’t really understand their truck and how to do their own work on them and do mods that look cool while adding no real function. Like spacer lifts, $1000 headlights... or faux TRD pro grills with raptor lights.

    Never enough
Towed with it for the first time. Took my buddys 91 Corolla GTS a few hours north so we can drop a new motor in it. Truck did great! Super impressed considering all the extra weight from armor.
