What is your second car?

2021 Rav4 Hybrid XSE

 

I don't have any new pics because the car has been in Michigan for a long ass time, and it will be there for a long ass time (2023 or 2025 maybe).

So it is a very rare 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Special Edition Y88 in gold (color). 8k made in 1978 and Im gonna assume there are less than 200 still running around america.

 

A Suzuki Bandit, and a 2010 Toyota Matrix (also in magnetic grey)

 

This TJ has been my second "car" since right after I bought it new as it hasn't been a practical daily driver, especially with its current 12 mpg. Most of the suspension has been changed, front and rear TrueTracs, plus a dual battery with a fridge is in the rear. It was also featured in the June 2020 issue of FourWheeler magazine. It's taken me to awesome scenic places and I'll never sell it.

 

On 4 wheels, my wife has a 2014 Rav4 in blue crush. Only 29K, we got it summer 2019 with 17K.

On 2 wheels..I have a few but my favorite..bought as a $100 basket case in 2018 and restored it.

Would you trade it for an LJ Rubicon tho, if an opportunity presented itself?

 

First of all, that would be crazy for anyone to part ways with an LJ Rubicon. Shame on you for thinking such a thing!

Secondly to answer your question, my TJ is affectionately called the Redheaded Mistress. Although she's not the prominent ride on the cover below, she is still a cover girl with an inside spread.

Oh I see. IDK why I though it was a T100. Maybe because of the configuration (reg cab, long bed). Regardless it’s bad ass.

 

List changes every 5 minutes because of my inability to stick with the same vehicle for any sizable length of time.

I currently have a 2004 Acura TL as a daily shitbox and my wife has a 2016 Kia that she drives.

Lol it’s a rare one. But the v8 in a reg cab = soo much more fun than a t100.

My second vehicle is a 2002 Toyota Sequoia Limited 4x4 w/325,000 miles on the clock.
Shes been an absolute beast!

 

Annnnd just that quickly the list changed.

Replaced Acura with a Merc.

 

2004 Powerstroke. 6 speed, 4x4. Otherwise nothing special. Bought it 12/23/2005 with 35080 miles on it while home on Christmas leave. Said I was going to run it til it died. It's been close to death at least once upon impact with a 1200 lb cow and 600 lb calf at 55 mph in November 2009, but after something like $11k in repairs, it was back on the road. Got 271000 on her now, and I'll still take it anywhere in the country. Made her first trip through the Rockies with me last June, that was a bit interesting, but nothing of consequence.
