It.....Is......amazing sir. I can't tell you how awesome this thing has been. 1. Being able to lift something up evenly, 2. the ends slide out and in for more options as well and the padded feet on the top screw up and down, 3. getting bumpers and sliders on are a breeze without the use of jack stands, just all around goodness.

I tell you, figuring out how to get the bumper on with the winch installed, by myself was an interesting problem to solve. Ultimately made this out of scrap wood from the bumper pallet.

Lived in Putnam County for 15ish years and me and my family had no idea candlewood was there, had a blast over the summer in '19

 

I was down there a few times in 2018 and 2019. I only went once in 2020. Great bass fishing, I love that place. The houses are freaking crazy. Subsequently, I actually met a "celebrity" when I was there in 2019 on his boat.

Yeah, we did the boat rental thing and spent a lot of time gawking at the houses, who was it?

 

so it was kind of an awkward but funny story, we were coming in after a full day of fishing starting the day at 4 AM and heading towards the ramp in the southern section where the parking lot is. We were about a quarter-mile away from the ramp and we saw this really nice 25 to 30 foot jet black boat being brought down the ramp and into the water. Because our boat was in the "no wake zone" we couldn't really see the boat very good until I got into the water. As it started to come towards us, I looked at my friend Dave and said "Dave, is that who I think it is?" He was like no it couldn't be. I then stated him "Yeah Dave I think it is. That's RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan. He passed directly by us and I shouted "Wu-Tang Clan ain't nuttin to Fuck with!" he looked at us and made the W sign with his fingers. I looked at the back of the boat and it said "RZA's" going across the back of it. I was like "that's freaking sweet." I don't know if he has a house on Candlewood or not but it made the trip.

Quick question Jared,

I was originally looking at the long reach; jacks to about 24 inches. My brother told me to look at the super duty 3 ton; said its pretty much an exact replica of his snap on. Slightly lower reach at 23 inches.

Long reach: Super duty: I assume either would be good for the tacoma. Curious what jack you have and any feedback you might be able to provide.

 

I actually have an old 3 ton Pittsburg one that is not sold by them anymore. Mine raises up to about 21 inches but I have the crossbar on mine so it can add about 6 more inches if necessary. Either one of the ones above that you mentioned will work just fine. I did not have the "rapid raise" one or the "low profile" one. I think I paid $94 then and it still works good today even though it is 10 years old.
