My brother gave me this for my bday and its amazing! Just thought I’d share it.

 

How long does it last? I feel like everything I try last about a week then it’s back to the same old faded look. I hate it haha I bought a can of lunar mist and clear i plan on spraying it to match because the faded look is ugly

 

Okay 1st Gen owners, I have a question. I'm new to TW so go easy on me but I've searched the forums and am still looking for answers.

My issue is I just put on an A.R.E. camper on my truck and had no idea bed stiffeners were a thing until stumbling across them in a thread. Everything I'm seeing is the problem beds are 2nd/3rd gens. Is the bed failure an issue with the 1st gens? Thanks in advance for any input!

 

I used this stuff on mine and it has been holding up well now since December 2019.
Make sure to prep the surface well and clean the shit out of it. Light high grit sanding to held with adhesion. The stuff has adhesion promoter in it too.

I think I did satin iirc.

 

It says 200+ washes. My brother said it lasts a year.

 

You'll be fine as long as you aren't pushing the truck too hard.

 

Mine still going fairly strong I think.

Yes it can be an issue but if its a street only truck it likely won't be a problem.

 

Pulled the transmission to clean up some oil leaks

Until the OCD kicks in and ya start obsessing over it. Oh hell. Just received the RAGO order conf email.

 

Dropped the pan. Most of the oil leaking was from the old paper gasket.. cleaned up mating surfaces, used Toyota FIPG instead. No leaks so far
