I have a '15 tacoma with the 2.7 and a manual transmission. I believe they come factory with a 4.10:1 final drive ratio and I'm looking to move up to 34" tires so I'm thinking of swapping to a 4.88 final drive. I wasn't able to find a thread that addressed this directly so I'd love to hear from people who have done this, recommendations on how to go about this, or even just a link to a thread about this that I wasn't able to find. Thank you guys

I have the same engine & trans as you and yes we have 4.10s stock.

34s are 11% larger than stock (34/30.5). So theoretically you would want 4.10*(34/30.5) = 4.57 to keep the stock ratio. However, the 34s will be heavier so going up to 4.88 makes perfect sense to me.

4.88 or 5.29. Look at some calculators and see how the rpms work out.
