Can anyone with known FJ wheels tell me what they're stamped? This is how mine are stamped and I'm trying to figure out if they're 4Runner spares or something else.

My buddy and I both rock Steelies he’s got the pro comp steel wheels (he’s the one about to give me the pull). Thinking about going silver with mine in the spring.

I was this >< close to color matching mine to my silver 4Runner, but in the end I decided against it. If I had white or quicksand it would have been a no-brainer, though.

Pretty standard but I love the look of the new tires on the FJ steelies, just got everything mounted and balanced yesterday.

Yes, 2G TRD Pro up front / rear shocks and a Headstrong Off-Road 1.5” AAL with the overload removed. That means just about 2” up front and 1.5” out back. That’s with a 265/70-17 snow tire. I run a 265/75-16 KO2 for the other three seasons.

Figured I’d post here since wheel choice ended up being the hardest decision of the build, but lurking on this thread for about 6 months finally pulled the trigger on some steel wheels on a 2017 Tacoma SR 4x4.

I ended up going with 16” RTX Wheels off Amazon and 265/75R16 Toyo Open Country AT3s.

At the time of purchase RTX was the only new steel wheels available for immediate shipping. Road Ready was OOS and sourcing 16” Toyota spares was coming up close to the same price after prepping and painting.

Suspension was $100 Brand new Bilstein 4600 Shocks and front Coils off a 2020 TRD Pro DCSB, 1” spacer and 1.5” add a leaf all done in my garage. Lift gained almost exactly 2” front and back.

Thank you to everyone I PMed with questions and people posting images and specs of their trucks. TW was a big help in deciding on lift and wheel options.

    Hi Folks,

Does anyone know if there are center cap options for the spare 16" steel wheels? I purchased some new ones from Rock Auto and plan to paint them silver, but I would also like to install a center cap to slightly dress them up.

Does anyone have any photos of the spare 16" steel wheels in silver on a white Tacoma? That is what I am going for.

    Thanks,

    Hunter

Does anyone have a good source for 4Runner/FJ Cruiser center caps? I just ordered a set of wheels off eBay and all the caps I find are $40+.

Someone in the thread mentioned re-pops and that would be fine for my purposes.

    I’ve got a 2015 PreRunner, currently on
265 70 R17s on 4Runner Trail wheels. Thinking about moving to 17 steelies though. I like the 15mm offset, and best I can tell 17-inch OEM FJ steels are 30. Any recommendations on something that may be closer to what I’ve got now?
