You can’t make shit like this up so check it out Wife got a new vehicle in 2014 and never really been properly detailed since new. Paint was getting dull and after 95k miles it was due for some love. So I called one of the better detail places in town and got the platinum package which includes ceramic for the paint, but only the cheapie 1 year stuff. But hey I get to sit on my ass while they do all the work. They do at least buff it all out and level it up before doing the ceramic so that turned out nice, the red pops now. So we gave it to them on a slow Friday and told them no hurry rain was in forecast anyway and it takes about 2 days for ceramic to get full hard. Sure as hell didn’t want water spots. Called em Sunday afternoon, yes they work 7 days a week. Picked up the car and wife noticed a vape pipe left in car, nice. I’m ok with that so we went back Monday to just ask around and maybe give the pothead his pipe back. I really don’t care what people do and weed is legal here. Nobody would admit ownership and finally the manager came over and wanted to know what was going on. I didn’t tell him and quickly told him a bullshit story about how pleased we were with the job they did. Actually they did a good job so Then I whipped out a 20 and gave to the guy that detailed the car. He still claimed he didn’t know anything about the vape pen that still had half a cartridge left. We left and stopped by a dispensary to consult with knowledgeable stoners. Turns out it’s a mid grade item so we bought a new cartridge of sour diesel and went home. Times sure have changed from when I was a kid in the 1970s. Some things haven’t though, people doing weed are still paranoid.

Could it be the boss doesn't allow it on site and he/they didn't want to get caught? I'm a fan of the stuff myself but wouldn't give the go ahead for employees in a production setting to use openly. Particularly with what is involved, high ticket item of the customer's to be in possession of where a careless mistake could cost thousands. Seems like an easy out for insurance company as well.

Now working on your own stuff in the back yard smoke and or drink might as well be required steps. Lubrication is important.
