Harbor Freight now doing a lifetime warranty on all their tools!

Hey all,
I may be late to the boat on this one... In years past I was a loyal Sears guy for the lifetime warranty on Craftsman tools. As I was in Harbor Freight this am, the gal at the counter told me that Harbor Freight is now giving a lifetime warranty on all their tools and you don't need the receipt! (They have your in their system already.)

I've always known Harbor Freight to be the place to buy tools cheap that never lasted very long, but did the job the 1 time you needed it. I'm happy to hear that they now warranty all their tools.

it's not all their tools. I know the pittsburg and Icon tools do have lifetime warranties. The power tools do not.

Some of the power tools do have a great value now. The cordless tools still suck in my opinion.

 

I broke a Harbor Freight impact socket I bought at least 10 years before the warranty started, they replaced it.

 

yup. the customer service at HF has stepped-up big time

 

The lifetime warranty is for hand tools. Each of their branded tools. I just bought a Harbor Freight FastenPro 17 inch riveter for $15. They said it has 90 day warranty since not technically a hand tool.

By the way, my hood struts will go on this weekend with the new riveter.
