Well I'm a displaced Texan really. Just purchased a 2016 Tacoma I named "Ninja". No frills but that is ok since I came from owning Subarus but am need of a truck. I really like her except she is a pig on acceleration. I knew about it in my research but sheesh. My Yukon XL accelerated better but then again it was a V8. Nevertheless, every vehicle has it's quirks and wasn't planning on any drag races. Look forward to reading some posts and maybe attend any group gatherings (if there exist any).

PS: During a diagnostics appointment dealer made note that my tires are "oversized" (270/70 R17) and may cause some ball bearing damage. There is no rubbing. Is this an issue? I will be looking through the forum. Thanks for the welcome

Too much to name for this little space
Central Ohio here. Check out the Ohio forum https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/ohio.212/ I haven't seen much yet on meet and greets but that will be the first place if there is one.

I have 275/70s without rubbing and whenever you get a bigger tire or wheel, there's going to be added stress on all of your suspension and wheel components. As long as there's not rubbing then the wear and tear will just be, over time, a little bit quicker than stock. Not really enough to concern yourself with it
