2019 Tacoma SR - Prewired for something, what is it? - Help Please

Installing the keyless entry last night and came across a plug that had no switch. Something has been prewired, and I am wondering what it may be? The length of the wires would put it down by the auto headlight switch. Pics of the plug below.

 

It's the connector to the Bed lamp...

So do you think it’s wired all the way to the bed and just doesn’t have lights installed?

 

Most trucks have the same wiring harness to allow easier assembly changing between models/options at the factory. The wiring is likely there, the parts that function are likely not.

 

Since you were under the dash, look and see if the relay, fuse are there. And if the connector has the wiring towards the cab lamp.

I wanna jump on this post here because while I was installing a cargo lamp switch for my bed light, I ran into this plug right next to the bed light plug. I have an SR, so I don’t have a lot of the fancy technology the better models have, so I was wondering what this plug is for? 5 colors: Red, green, blue, pink, and purple in the same area as the automatic lights switch.

 

It's the connector for the inverter your SR does not have.
