Jackall and home made traction boards to the rescue this weekend. A friend got his 3/4ton plow truck stuck in our driveway. And hilarity ensued. Within an hour it was three trucks stuck sideways in my laneway. My boards were the game changer that got all three out eventually.
My truck and the second 3/4 ton both came out under their own power with the boards. The plow truck was a different story. I winched it up sideways out of the ditch front and back then used the boards to get it moving on it's own.
The tools I used to get the trucks out were cheap and simple. They dont weigh much or take up much room. Perfect if you offroad and you want to setup a rescue kit but dont want to spend big dollars or put a full bumper and winch on your daily driver.
20210227_153700.jpg that's right its plywood. Broke after this final unstucking but would still be useable. Next set will be a double layer but in all honesty we are talking a 3/4ton plow truck so....
And here is the winch set up. Pulled the heavy beast SIDEWAYS with a jackall. That's a lot of power in a simple package. For anyone on here who is just getting into offroad and isnt sure where to start for recovery Get one of these and learn to use it.

Sorry to hear that I thought I was the only one who had the roll up door in the bedroom.
